This site earns commission on purchases made through its buttons. That is the whole arrangement, and this page exists so nobody has to guess at it.

How it works

Each button carries a tracking parameter. If you buy after following one, the store pays us a percentage of the sale. You pay the same price either way: the commission comes out of the retailer margin, not out of your total.

What it does not change

Ratings are printed as they stand, including the ones below four when there are any. Products that go out of production come off the site, which earns nothing at all. The guides quote public agencies whether or not the quote helps a sale: the article on shower heads explains why a new head will not fix low mains pressure, which is not a sentence that sells shower heads.

What it does affect is that this site exists. The photography, the measuring and the writing are paid for this way.
